Generating content
Creating a mix of informative and promotional content helps you get in front of existing and new audiences when you need to. Whether you want to improve your search rankings, stand out more in the market, or drive more sales of your products, Content Studio quickly generates countless variants of high-quality content from a variety of different templates.
How to generate contentLink copied!
To generate content, just select a template that matches the type of content you need, for example a product description. Use the template to tell the AI information about what you'd like to generate, depending on the template you've chosen.
You have the option to give extra information with your chosen template to enhance the output, such as::
- Choose a different AI model
- Add examples to help guide the output
- Include additional instructions to customize generation beyond the options in the template
Use "do" phrases, such as, "Use direct address to refer to the reader as 'you'" or "Help the buyer picture how the product will improve their day to day life". "Don't" phrases will be less successful.
Content generation uses a credit-based system. When you use a template, the number of credits required to generate the content will be shown on the "Generate" button. (This credit requirement varies depending on the type of content you want to generate). Read more about credits.
Here's an example that shows generating a product description:
At the end of generated content there's a handy word count, so you can easily check the total number of words. You can copy and paste the generated content to use anywhere.
If you launch Content Studio from the Generative rich text editor in Dynamic Content, then you can save the content that you've generated back to the content form.

You can use Content Studio to generate content in a wide range of languages, removing the need for costly translation.
Using the locale setting you can guide the AI model to create content relevant for that location. For example, if you create a blog about "Best places to surf" and your locale is set to French (FR), your blog will focus on places to surf in France.
Your locale also controls the language in which your content will be generated, depending on the AI model you use. Be sure to try out all AI models when generating content to determine which one meets your needs.
You can set different default locales for different brands. For example, you may have one version of your brand with British English, and another with American English.
When you select your generation options, you can override your default locale by selecting a different locale from the list in the voice section of your template brief.
This drop down allows you to freely type in a specific locale that isn't included in the list. For example, “Canadian French”, “Chinese” or "Korean".
When generating your content, do not use an example in a different language from the one you would like to use when generating content. This will cause inconsistency in language within your content.

Tip: Enable image recognition with your AI model - The AI model GPT 4o uses image recognition when generating content. You can upload a product image or pull in product data using your commerce integration for GPT 4o to highlight aspects of the product based on the image alone.
