Shopify eComm Toolkit

The Amplience eComm Toolkit removes the “swivel chair“ approach between Shopify and Amplience Dynamic Content (CMS), giving businesses a single place to create fast, relevant and personalized commerce experiences.

The easy-to-implement extension maps three core commerce functions from Shopify into Amplience automatically. This creates a much better experience for business users as they no longer have to rely on manual, tedious back and forth between platforms. This extension also removes the potential for human error and speeds content production time.

The eComm Toolkit maps the following commerce functions:

• Category Mapping: Maps commerce categories from Shopify into Amplience,  automatically. This pulls in things like category IDs and category display names, making it easy for business users to edit components of navigation structure or hierarchies in detail without flipping back to reference and copy/paste from Shopify.

• Product Mapping: Enables users to search and select single or multiple products from Shopify to populate a content item in Amplience. This makes it easy to build things like product carousels or populate a curated product listing page without referencing products in Shopify. The search is populated based on product IDs, keyword or categorization.

• Content Personalization Mapping: Maps user groups/segments from Shopify into Amplience, making it easy for business users to create personalized content experiences by pulling targeted user segments into Amplience without having to reference the commerce platform. Note: Requires self hosting.
