What to Expect
As our People & Culture Associate, you’ll provide vital support to the Head of People and help ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day People operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong HR foundation who enjoys being involved in a broad range of HR activities—from recruitment coordination and onboarding to systems administration, employee lifecycle support, and assisting with people projects.
You’ll be part of a small but busy team, gaining exposure to global ways of working while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, people-focused support.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
People Experience & Operations
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, making sure every employee experience is smooth, engaging and accurate
- Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS (HiBob) and ensure personnel files are kept up to date
- Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and employee changes
- Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Help monitor HR inboxes and act as a first point of contact for day-to-day queries
Recruitment & Talent Coordination
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Liaise with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and inclusive hiring process.
- Maintain candidate data and recruitment records accurately.
People, Programs & Projects
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as surveys and internal communications.
- Support policy updates, documentation reviews and internal knowledge base maintenance
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Provide data and documentation to support monthly payroll processing
- Assist with benefits enrolment and liaise with providers as needed
- Serve as backup support for payroll operations when required
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards); Level 5 is a bonus
- 2–4 years’ experience in an HR coordinator, assistant or generalist role
- A strong understanding of core HR processes, with working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience using HRIS systems (ideally HiBob or similar)
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’re comfortable working with people at all levels
- Able to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
- Curious, adaptable and always looking for ways to improve the way things work
- Experience in a global or US-based environment is a plus, but not essential.
