What to Expect
 
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture – North America, as the People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a valuable role within the HR team. You will be responsible for helping design and implement HR programs and initiatives, providing HR support to employees, and collaborating with the global HR team to ensure alignment with company-wide HR strategies. You will have the opportunity to not only deliver a world-class experience to employees, but to also set your strategic mind to continually improve our people processes to be automated, scalable, and best in class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR administrative, operational, and systems support, primarily for the US region, but in collaboration with the global HR team.
  • Oversee new hire compliance for our US based new hires: add to the people systems, conduct pre-employment checks, coordinate first day essentials, completion of training modules, new hire acknowledgements, etc. 
  • Maintain consistent and accurate employee data across multiple people systems, ensuring reliable information for decision-making, reporting, and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain accurate employee files for current and former employees.
  • Assist in keeping most up-to-date and relevant information readily available, while brainstorming creative ways to deliver information to our employees.
  • Process employee changes as needed.
  • Help with the design, implementation, and monitoring of HR programs and initiatives such as, process improvements, HR system implementations/updates, and policy updates.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to all employees and work to improve relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US employees; respond to employee inquiries providing guidance and support on company policies, programs, and systems, with a sense of urgency and confidentiality, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal level relating to employment, and ensuring HR programs, practices and policies are aligned. 
  • Assist in planning internal employee experience events.
  • Contribute to our knowledge management efforts through the creation and maintenance of process and policy documentation and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for internal process improvements to promote efficiency and scalability, including staying current on HR technologies and best practices. 
  • Oversee the administration of US payroll processing, benefits administration and open enrollment.
  • Support the People & Culture team as a whole and assist with other ad hoc HR projects and responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide support to the Head of People & Culture – EMEA, and the global HR team.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Prior HR experience working for a global or multi-state company is desirable.
  • Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. 
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable approach, cultivating an environment of trust, inclusion, and belonging. 
  • The ability and willingness to ask questions about different ways we can tackle processes and programs.
  • Proven success working with confidential and highly sensitive information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time regionally and nationally and up to 10% of the time internationally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $60,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
