What to Expect
 
As a Key Account Director, you will drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with an allocated set of key clients. You will work closely with our marketing and partner teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to meet or exceed your annual sales target. This high-impact role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You’ll be at the forefront of Generative AI, and solving real world business and technology problems, orchestrating a team of colleagues to help your customer excel. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Quota Achievement: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed the annual sales quota in excess of $850K.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop account strategies and plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to prospects and clients, effectively communicating the value of our solutions.
  • Executive Level Meetings: Organize and conduct executive level meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients while ensuring that company profitability goals are met.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, customer support, and product development teams to drive customer satisfaction and product improvement.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management in the CRM system.
  • Onsite visits and tradeshows: Travel regionally and nationally up to 50% of the time to meet with customers/prospects, attend tradeshows, etc. Travel internationally up to 10% of the time.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding an annual quota in excess of $850K in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a selling and Account Management role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools such as Salesforce and Clari.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time regionally and nationally and up to 10% of the time internationally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $125,000/annually + Commission Incentive Pay + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
