As we enter peak season - a very busy period for both us and our customers - launching our Next Generation Content Authoring Beta a few weeks ago felt like a bold step. However, it seems that risk is already paying off, with many early adopters already discovering the benefits of our new and improved content authoring experience. The feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been hearing:

“I really liked the new layout and system. When I saw it in a demo video, I was excited to see it start in beta.”

The Amplience development team is thrilled that even the small enhancements we’ve made are making content authors’ lives a bit easier:

“I especially appreciate the swap option for assets and content, which saves a click instead of having to delete and search for a replacement.”

A thoughtful beta launch

Recognizing the importance of preparation during peak season, we’re managing the Beta with a focus on minimizing risk for our customers. Our Beta model allows for individual and organization-level opt-ins, offering significant flexibility for those wanting to explore Next Gen Content Authoring. With over 80 customers now opting in, we’re receiving fantastic feedback on the out-of-the-box features the new experience provides.

Empowering power users

Many early adopters are encouraging their Power Users to opt in individually before rolling out Next Gen across their entire organization. This gives customers the opportunity to test out the new content authoring experience on a smaller scale and report back before the entire org starts using it. For customers looking to opt in for their whole organization, it’s simple. Just log a ticket with Amplience Support.

If any content types encounter issues, it’s straightforward to opt back out until a patch is released. We’re regularly providing updates and fixes during the Beta phase.

The value of new features

We’re especially excited about the positive impact of our Next Gen features on development teams. They’re unlocking new functionalities and enhancing content types, much to the delight of content producers. Features like the new layout options, such as tabs, and conditional fields are quickly becoming favorites among users.

Give Next Generation Content Authoring a try today. It could streamline your day-to-day tasks during this busy season. To learn more about optimizing your authoring experience, check out our Beta docs page.
