It's provided as is and is unsupported. > Each time you use it to edit images you'll use [Amplience credits](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/ai-services/credits). ## Resizing image canvases With Image Studio's 'resize canvas' feature you can make sure your images are perfectly sized for displaying your products across different platforms, channels, and devices. ### Resize and crop images You can use just the section of an image that you want, by resizing the canvas and cropping out the unwanted parts. For instance, we can create a new image from only the highlighted part of the image below. ![Collection of items to be cropped](https://cdn.media.amplience.net/i/ampproduct/is-crop-1?w=1880&fmt=png 'Collection of items to be cropped') The new image is created by setting the canvas dimensions, choosing an "Anchor" position, and then centering the image. For example, the background of this image is too large and needs to be resized to have canvas dimensions of 2048 px x 2048 px. ![Image that will be resized](https://cdn.media.amplience.net/i/ampproduct/is-fill-1?w=1880&fmt=png 'Image that will be resized') We want the entire image to be included in a new canvas size of 2048 px by 2048 px, so the positioning mode is set to "Fit". Here's an example of using "Cover" mode, to adjust an image for use as a desktop website banner. The recommended dimensions for the banner are 1200 x 400 pixels, and our existing image is too large to use. ![Image that is too large to be used as a website banner](https://cdn.media.amplience.net/i/ampproduct/is-cover-1?w=1880&fmt=png 'Image that is too large to be used as a website banner') First set the Width to 1200px and the Height to 400px.
