# Edit roles for invited users

**Release date: 27th August 2025**

Account Management now gives you greater flexibility when setting initial permissions for Dynamic Content user accounts, allowing you to **edit initial user permissions that are set by invites**.

When you set initial permissions for a group of invitees, they all receive the same level of access. Now, you can adjust the initial permissions for individual invitees, giving those users the exactly the level of access they need, as soon as they log in.

Here's an example, where we're inviting two users to the organization. We're setting initial permissions by cloning them from an existing user that we know provides a minimal level of access. Both of the new users will receive the same permissions:

The new users both show as "Invited members", and have the permissions shown below:

We want one of the users to have a higher level of access as soon as they log in, so we've edited their permissions by editing the invite:

For more information about how you can use just in time provisioning when creating user accounts from Account management, see [inviting members](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#inviting-members).

Users will get their updated permissions without the need to resend the invite.
