# Content Studio- product export feeds

**Release date: 13th November 2024**

This Content Studio release includes support for importing product data from feeds exported from a commerce platform. Product feeds in JSON, XML, CSV and Google Product feed formats are supported.

> **Note:** Content Studio has become Workforce.

Content Studio allows for the selection of products from a number of supported [commerce platforms](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/workforce/setup/integrations/) in order to generate content. For those commerce platforms that we don't currently support, [product export feeds](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/workforce/integrations/feeds-exports) provide a way of trying out Content Studio with your product data. You can also use product feeds in the cases where:

- You just want to try Content Studio and do not have access to all the credentials you need to set up an integration.
- You just want to try Content Studio with some dummy data.

## Importing from a product feed

In Content Studio, to import products from a feed, choose the Commerce Repositories icon and click "Add Commerce Repository". From here you can import from a product feed in JSON, XML, CSV and Google Product feed formats.

We've provided information about configuring product feeds in each of the supported formats:

- JSON
- XML
- CSV
- Google Product feed

Once configured, you can browse and add product data when using [Content Studio templates](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/workforce/templates/#templates) such as "Rewrite product description".

## Using product feeds

Product feeds are primarily intended to help you evaluate a Content Studio trial and to demonstrate its features. The total file size of a feed cannot be larger than 2MB and the file must be hosted at a publicly accessible URL.

You can use product feeds as part of your workflow, subject to the limitations, but another consideration is how often a feed needs to be exported in order to include up to date product information.

You can find more information about using and configuring product feeds in the [product export feeds](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/workforce/integrations/feeds-exports) section.
