## General

### What is account management?

Account management enables you to create accounts and set permissions for Dynamic Content users, without the need to contact Amplience support. See [Account Management](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/overview/#account-management).

## Logging in

### Do I need to use Single sign-on to use account management?

No, account management works for Single sign-on (SSO) and non-SSO users.

## Users and permissions

### Who will the organization admin be?

You can choose which people are your organization admins. Each organization admin can set roles on all hubs and repositories for all users. See [Assigning organization roles](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/set-permissions/#promoting-to-organization-admin).

### Can I have multiple organization admins?

Yes. In addition, you can give users [hub admin permissions](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/concepts/permissions/roles/#hub-and-repository-roles) to help delegate certain admin tasks.

### Can I add new users to my account?

Yes, you can add new Dynamic Content users to your account, along with initial permissions. See [Creating user accounts](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#creating-user-accounts).

To add Content Hub users you must contact Amplience Support.

### Can I modify permissions for invited members?

Yes. Your organization admin can [edit and resend invitations](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#editing-and-resending-invites).

For members with expired invites, you can safely remove the members from the organization and then send new invites with different permissions. See [Creating user accounts](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#creating-user-accounts).

### Will Amplience Support create Dynamic Content user accounts?

Yes, you still have the option of asking Amplience Support to create Dynamic Content user accounts. However, we strongly recommend that you create user accounts using Account Management because it's the quickest and most convenient way. See [Creating user accounts](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#creating-user-accounts).

If you do request Amplience support to create Dynamic Content user accounts, your request must include the **user email address**. You may optionally add the user name and organization name.

### Are my Content Hub/DAM user permissions affected?

No - managing user permissions for Dynamic Content makes no changes to the level of access in Content Hub/DAM.

### Can I have different roles on different hubs and repositories?

Yes.

### Can I hide hubs and repositories from users?

Yes, assigning no role to a user for a hub or repository means they can no longer see that hub or repository.

### Why are there duplicate members in the organization?

Duplicate members shouldn't exist in account management. However, they can occur in the following instances:

- An invite is sent to a specific email address, and the user logs in through SSO with that same email address. For more information, see [Duplicate Dynamic Content user accounts](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#duplicate-dynamic-content-user-accounts).
- An invite is created and accepted, but account management doesn't remove the accepted invite/invitee. As a result the same user will be listed as an invited member and also as an accepted member. You can safely remove the invited users. See [Removing members from an organization](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/members/#removing-members-from-an-organization).
