DNA is Finland’s third-largest telecommunications company, specialising in a full range of services for both consumers and customers. With customer experience playing a giant role in winning and retaining customers, DNA was on a mission to level up its customer-centric focus even further with a first-rate website.

The Challenge

DNA’s content creation process was built around a desktop experience. After seeing a big spike in website traffic from smartphones and tablets, DNA knew it needed a faster and cost-effective mobile-first approach to create engaging content that performs perfectly in every context.

Customer experience plays a major role when trying to separate yourself from the pack, even more so when you’re competing with other telco giants with big budgets. DNA needed to create a world-class omnichannel experience – and a new website was going to play a major role.

The Solution

DNA chose Amplience to revamp its online experience due to its mobile-first approach, ease of use, and processes that are proven to boost site performance, speed, productivity and customer loyalty.

By the end of August 2018, virtually all DNA media resources were migrated to Amplience’s cloud-based storage solution. This meant DNA were able to refresh and optimize their content without the need to build a separate media server to store their digital assets.

Content production teams could now rapidly create and access all existing files. Every piece of content is automatically transcoded into the best file format and resolution for each device so that customers are guaranteed the best experience possible. Whether it’s a routine upload or time-specific promotion, teams now have the tools they need to move fast and optimize world-class content across every channel and device.

DNA’s team experienced a 50% boost in productivity. Tiring image reiterations and asset management tasks were replaced with proven time-saving processes.
