What to Expect

As an AI Data Engineer, you will support teams in creating innovative software solutions through various tasks that support evaluating and fine-tuning AI models.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cleanse datasets for use in training and evaluating AI models, including manual and automated data creation.
Building pipelines for collecting and formatting data.
Annotation and labelling of data to enrich inputs and evaluate outputs.
Reviewing outputs and building tooling to coordinate the reviewing of outputs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for data and review processes.
Research state of the art tooling for data preparation, cleansing, reviewing and producing synthetic data.
Document and communicate findings and methodologies to team members and stakeholders.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Proficiency in data handling and manipulation.
Coding experience such as Python/JavaScript.
Experience with databases and database querying languages (e.g. SQL).
Familiarity with data annotation tools for labelling various types of data.
Analytical thinking and data analysis skills are required to be robust and to evaluate results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
High level of adaptability to support a wide range of research areas.
2+ years’ experience in a technical role or equivalent skillset.
