Amplience’s Adaptive Media Platform (AMP) will be integrated into the new IBM Commerce Composer for IBM WebSphere Commerce app library.
The Amplience app that integrates with IBM WebSphere Commerce will allow users to easily produce creative, inspirational marketing and merchandising, including banners, carousels, look-books and style guides, as well as rich interactive media at product and search pages.
The drag-and-drop capabilities of Amplience‘ Interactive Merchandising’ empower creative and line-of-business users to produce stunning omni-channel retail experiences that incorporate interactive images and video with merchandising call-to-actions. Creating engaging campaign media with Interactive Merchandising media is fast and easy – enabling hard-working site operations teams to do more every day – driving improvements to conversion, bounce rates, order values and time-in-site.
The IBM Commerce Composer integration will support the Amplience ‘Dynamic Media’ product which enables product and lifestyle images and videos to be served on-demand – from a single, high-resolution master asset – in the size, format and quality required, without manual intervention. Dynamic Media improves SEO and transforms content production agility for mobile and responsive Web designs.
Launching at NRF 2014, IBM Commerce Composer is a new online storefront curator that helps retailers dynamically adapt their online presence to meet changing consumer demands. As part of its leading WebSphere Commerce platform, IBM Commerce Composer cuts time to market by giving line of business leaders control over the look, feel and functionality of their online store fronts with no technical coding skills required. Using intuitive click-to-install templates, marketers and e-commerce leaders can quickly customize page layouts, optimize navigation and add new site functionality in minutes.
The Amplience app is one of a core library of apps developed for IBM from key strategic global partners, providing ‘best of breed’ ecommerce capabilities.
